The Lodge On Lake Siesta is in its 14th year of operation, and next spring it will receive a guest returning for a 14-year anniversary as a guest. Other guests are catching up because they are scheduling retreats twice a year and will be coming to their seventh anniversary in January.
There is something good going on at the Lodge. Come see for yourself. Experience what it is that makes our guests want to come back over and over. Some say it’s because of the solitude and peace, some say it’s the wildlife feeding just out the window, and others say it’s because the facility is perfect for their reunion needs. The real truth is that guests return because they like the way they feel at the end of their stay. The lodge has everything you need to be self-contained. You can prepare meals in the full kitchen or duck out to Murphy’s Steakhouse 4 miles west on Hwy 153 in Winchester for excellent lunches or dinners. You can play games with the kids on Friday and Saturday nights at the Lodge or go into La Grange to the Bugle Boy Music Listening Studio for some 1st class entertainment. You can sip morning coffee while sitting on the dock nestled in the pine trees and then cap off the weekend by having Sunday brunch at La Grange. About this time, you’re starting to reminisce about your weekend at the Lodge and think about how it made you feel and you think to yourself, “ I’m glad I did this and I can’t wait to share with others.”
